- Does 3d-LIIVID require a software installation?
  - 3d-LIIVID operates similar to most radars and the displays use Java so there is no software to download or use.
- Why can't I see the display?
  - Your browser must be Java enabled in order to view the 3d-LIIVID.
  - If the problem persists, close your browser and try to view the page again.
  - Since the radar data is coming from the NWS and a outside source, there is the potential for one or more radar stations to go down. These issues are raWU mailre, but are beyond our control.
- Where can I get Java and Java support?
  - View the Resolving Java Issues page
  - Visit Sun Microsystems Java.com downloads page.
  - This page has downloads for all supported operating systems.
  - Ensure that your Java Plug in is set up properly.
  - Information on using Java applets in browsers.
  - Information on using the Sun Java Plug-in.
- Why do the isosurface and 3d radar images not appear to be in the correct spot in relation to the base map?
  - This is due to the way the radar station scans the atmosphere.
  - Using the 2d radar along with the isosurface and 3d radar displays can help maintain relationship to the ground.
  - Understanding how radar stations work will assist in understanding how the isosurface and 3d radars are displayed.
  - Find more information on this in the 3d-LIIVID manual.
- Why does one frame not look correct?
  - This can happen when there is a problem with the data feed from the radar. This is beyond our control.
  - This can also occasionally happen when a frame is not processed correctly through the 3d-LIIVID radar. We are always working to reduce the occurrence of these anomalies.
- Why are some of the first frames not the correct time and data?
  - This happens when we change from one radar station to the another. It takes one 40 frame loop to clear out all of the old frames for members and 6 frames for non-members.
