3d-LIIVID operates similar to most radars and the displays use Java so there is no software to download or use.
Why can't I see the display?
Your browser must be Java enabled in order to view the 3d-LIIVID.
If the problem persists, close your browser and try to view the page again.
Since the radar data is coming from the NWS and a outside source, there is the potential for one or more radar stations to go down. These issues are raWU mailre, but are beyond our control.
This can happen when there is a problem with the data feed from the radar. This is beyond our control.
This can also occasionally happen when a frame is not processed correctly through the 3d-LIIVID radar. We are always working to reduce the occurrence of these anomalies.
Why are some of the first frames not the correct time and data?
This happens when we change from one radar station to the another. It takes one 40 frame loop to clear out all of the old frames for members and 6 frames for non-members.
