- What are the Default Links?
- NOTE: It is strongly recomended that you turn off all Defaul Links prior to editing your links.
- Default Links are categories and links that a new user starts with.
- To reset all of the links on your Quick Links page back to the default links, select the Edit My Links button and delete all current categories. Next select the Default Links button, check all boxes and Update Categories. You can also add single default categories by selecting one or more boxes.
- There must be open slots on your Quick Links page in order to use the default categories page.
- How do I edit and add categories?
- Select the Edit My Links button.
- To change the name of a category type the name in the desired box or boxes and select submit.
- If you have less then nine active categories this page will also be used to add new categories. Type the name of the new category in the box at the bottom of the page and select submit. This box will not be there if you have nine categories already.
- This page is also used to set the order in which the links will appear on your Quick Links page. The first row on your Quick Links page contains spots one, two, and three.
- Use the delete feature to remove unwanted categories.
- To maintain best performance, please ensure that you do not have duplicate numbers in the Sort Order field.
- How do I edit and add links?
- Select the Edit My Links button and then select Edit Links next to the category you wish to edit.
- To add a new link to a category type use the Add Category Links box at the bottom of the page. Enter the Link Title, then enter the web address in the Useful Links box. Then select the submit button.
- To edit the link title or web address after it has been entered use the boxes under the category title. These boxes can be used to update multiple links at one time.
- Please ensure that you do not have duplicate number in the Sort Order field
- To delete a link hit the delete link to the right of the link boxes.
- Why do some, or all of my links not work?
- Verify that you have entered the correct web address on the Edit Links page.
- Ensure that http has not been entered twice at the front of the link.
- Ensure that the web address is accurate and functional.
- These links should open in a new window, verify that your browser is not preventing this from happening.
- If all else fails delete the suspect links and try to reenter it.
