	This is the GFS long range forecast. The GFS model shows the 192 to 384 hour weather forecast. Forecasting this far out is very unreliable, but it is the beginning of an effort to be able to forecast this far out. This type of long range weather model can help forecast general patterns even though the specifics are so unreliable. The GFS forecast model is one of many that is used to help forecast tropical systems and hurricanes.
