The Java plug in is used to view many of the weather loops that are found on the web including satellite imagery, radar loops, forecast models, etc. Java requires memory in order to operate properly, and running these loops can sometimes overload the capability of your machine or Java settings. Some of the errors that may be seen include "too many virtual machines running" as well as "out of memory" and other errors. To best view the 3d-LIIVID™ product it is recommended that Java memory be increased to 256mb. The instructions on this page detail how to increase Java memory.
